Libby’s Kitchen + Studio.
Growing up in Texas, she learned to cook, garden, and hunt from her family. She quickly fell in love with nature + wildlife while roaming the hills at her grandparent’s ranch in The Texas Hill Country.
Libby graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Business Management in 2011. She didn’t pursue a career in the food industry right away, but she dreamed of owning her own food company one day.
After graduation, she moved to La Grange, Texas where she was the Program Director at Lutherhill, a summer camp + year-round retreat center. Occasionally, Libby and the Camp Chef would battle it out in the kitchen with a recipe throw down. During this time, she also began painting more regularly and truly discovered her calling to visual arts.
In 2013, she moved to Orange County, California where she was the Youth Director at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. While making snacks + dinner for her youth group on a weekly basis, she also soaked in the flavors + culinary inspiration from the melting pot of cultures in Southern California.
While in SoCal, she followed her dream and started a small personal chef business, Libby’s Kitchen. She offered in-home meal prep to individuals, couples, + families; and private event services for intimate gatherings in and around Orange County.
A new adventure came with 2021 as Libby relocated back to Central Texas where she evolved + expanded her business.
You can now find her operating Libby’s Kitchen + Studio in Texas. Libby largely serves Washington, Fayette, + Brazos Counties, but through delivery and travel, she reaches much further.
